DIY Monster “Eye” Greeting Cards

September 28, 2016 By: CyndiJcomment

Eye I Monster Card

These adorable DIY Monster “Eye” Cards are so fun and easy for you AND your little artists to create for ANY occasion.  The supplies are minimal, and most craft rooms have all of the necessary ingredients on hand!  These are perfect make-ahead greetings for birthdays, holidays, and learn-to-write-a-letter moments.  Be creative with your artwork and wording…..designing the perfect message is such a fun process!

Let’s Do This!

  • Cardstock
  • Googly Eyes
  • Markers
  • Foam Stickers (optional)
  • Hole Punch (optional)

Love You DIY Card

I like to cut the hole and adhere the eye FIRST….that way you will NOT run out of room for the front-cut hole or the monster inside the card.  The rest of the design…..anything goes!!  I like to “imply” words with the embellishments and add a few written words to tie everything together.

DIY Greeting Card

I know handmade cards are so popular and they’ve been around for decades.  Hopefully this  DIY Monster Eye Card design will inspire a few NEW ideas in your craftroom and help bring a smile to YOUR little artists’ day.

I'm the blessed mom to two amazing little girls, and we are constantly leaving trails of paint, glitter, and glue around our house. We embrace our crafty little messes, and we hope you create memorable messes of your own! Read More…
