These precious little Halloween Handprint Crafts are a fabulously fun way to personalize your fall crafting. My kiddos love to dip their hands and feet into paint and leave their prints on paper, t-shirts, tote bags, WHATEVER! To create these adorable monsters, spiders, and ghosts, just use acrylic paint from your craft store. I have never specifically used fabric paint – acrylic works just fine. If you feel the need to make it super permanent, iron the backside of the painted fabric with a DRY iron when the paint is dry.
After printing hands and feet, we added paper cutouts, glitter paint, googly eyes, paint, rhinestones, ribbon and marker. The possibilities are endless – use your creativity (and crafting stash)!
For the ghost and monsters, we printed little feet on scrapbook paper, then adhered it to foam board for more stability. Adding cutouts, glitter, eyes, and ribbon, we joined the monster and ghost pictures together to create a two-tiered hanging for our door.
Little handprints make perfect spiders, and we printed these on a tote bag blank for trick-or-treating (and the preschool candy bash)! It’s extremely difficult for us to create ANYTHING without a little bling, so we added some sparkle to the web. The web was drawn on with a fabric marker (Tee-Juice), and the rhinestones were adhered with glitter glue. Add some eyes and ribbon….and VOILE! You’ve created a super cute personalized Halloween bag!
Have fun creating these adorable Halloween handprint crafts! They are super EASY and kiddos LOVE seeing their personalized prints hanging on a door, wall, or on a bag!
